Anna Moni

Anna Moni has been a member of the Modern Languages faculty since 1996. She teaches the Italian language and culture and is Coordinator of the Program of Modern languages as of 2011. Her interests include developing speaking and writing skills, e-learning, intercultural learning, and the creation of authentic teaching materials. She has a long experience in pedagogy of teaching the Italian language in online programs at a Masters level at the University of Venice. She has been an examiner for certifications of the Italian language at all levels for the University of Perugia and the KPG of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. Ms. Moni has been training teachers and creating exams for the Italian Cultural Institute, the cultural section of the Italian Embassy. She has written several Italian language textbooks at elementary and intermediate level. Amanda Masino leads a National Science Foundation-funded program that infuses student research training into HT’s Natural Science curriculum. She directs the STEM Research Scholars program, which provides science, technology, engineering and math majors with mentored undergraduate research experiences. She also serves as faculty advisor for JAMP (the Joint Admissions Medical Program) and the HT chapter of MAPS (Minority Pre-Medical/Pre-Health Association). Faculty page
